About Us

People are what make The Way Forward 2045 what it is. Their commitment to finding the most distinctive and pleasant new experiences, along with their innovative and welcoming attitude, underpins our pledge to help people do and be more via travel.

About us

Wendy Pring founded The Way Forward 2045 in 2020 to provide quality on-the-ground shopping and travel experiences in East Ayrshire, where our team works and lives.

We believe ourselves to be a special breed, with not just the ability to generate innovative and sustainable choices, but also strong and seasoned on-the-ground operational know-how.

We are in the early stages of planning some of our exciting vacation options. However we have been trading on the ground with our selection of healthy and  sustainable options in our local shop in Cumnock – trading as @20:45.

This is an exciting place powered and fuelled by the services and imagination of young people with a focus on neurodiversity in the workplace!

Why dont you pop in? Ayr Road Cumnock 🙂

Why TWF2045?

With all of the alternatives and information available on the internet, we are led to believe that sustainability is out of reach. However, when alternatives and viewpoints expand, it is easy for confusion to set in, and it may become increasingly difficult to know which direction to turn and who to believe.

After all, your time is valuable, and you want to get it perfect, right? We hope that as you read this, you have already become enthusiastic and motivated to engage with us! But, of course, doing a good job entails much more than just collecting cool trip images. There are several reasons why we are excited about TWF 2045, and we’d like to make them clearer to you.

We are proud to be a Living Wage Employer

We are voluntarily taking a stance to guarantee that our employees may earn a wage that is sufficient to live in Scotland by paying the Real Living Wage ( including Modern Apprentices!). The Just Transition towards a cleaner greener and more equitable world needs this approach. We are (Feb24) 1 of 4 companies in east Ayrshire committing to this and only 1 of 219 in Scotland. Want to find out how and why we make this work get in touch!

The Living Wage movement seeks to accomplish this basic justice, which is why outstanding firms and organisations opt to go above and beyond the statutory minimum wage. It’s not only the ethical thing to do; it’s also a viable proposition. It guarantees that we recruit and keep the best and most motivated employees, whether they work for us directly or for others. We want great employees, and paying the Living Wage is a great way to attract and retain them.
